Blind Spot explores the distance between the body we see and the body we inhabit. Through staged photography, sculpture and the visual language of fashion and beauty, the series gives form to the unseen realities of endometriosis. A shared understanding between photographer and model shapes this intimate exploration of the pain that can exist beneath a composed surface.
Butterflies, tangled fibres and fractured surfaces trace a journey through uncertainty, diagnosis and acceptance. The work questions why suffering must become visible before it is believed, reflecting on the effort of concealing pain while longing for it to be understood. Moving towards light, the series considers how acceptance and hope can coexist with an ongoing condition, leaving room for connection, ambition and joy within a life that extends beyond diagnosis.
