Presented at The Mandrake during London Fashion Week, The Tragedy Queen is the debut SS26 couture collection by designer Saranya Umashankar. Inspired by the heroines of classic South Asian cinema, the collection explores sorrow, resilience and transformation through hand-embroidered zardozi, pearls, sheer fabrics and sculptural draping.
